When the heavens quake

As I am flying,
I see an angel crying.
I asked why these tears are falling from her face,
and she said "I don't belong in this place".
I asked her why?
She said that she forgot how to fly.
So I took her hand,
though she didn't understand.
I said "I will help you get back on your feet".
and she said "How can you make bread with out the weat".
I did not understand what she said,
so as I saw her lay upon her bed,
I noticed that she did not have wings,
she must have done some horrible things.
So in the morning I gave her some bread,
then I said "Now you have your weat, so now you have your bread."
She grew beautiful wings that glowed in the sky,
I gave up my wings, so she could fly.
What she meant was that she did not have wings so she could not fly,
but now she glides acrossed the sky.
All though I may never grow my wings again,
at least she now has a chance to begin.
Wait a minute what's that sound?
The heavens quake and the earths ground.
As I fall down into hell,
it was just a trick, the Devil's spell.
What I thought was an angel really is a soldier of hell,
the sound of his name rings a bell.
Alexer was his name,
and this was his game.
I made the wrong choice so now I must pay,
I will forever remember this evil day.
