Remember the first day we met
we look into each other eyes
an we introduced
our selves u had the biggest smile
i had ever seen with your dimples on the side
you were everything that everyone wanted
when we first met i had no interest in you at all
but as time went on we became closer as friends
we told each others or deepest darkest secrets
you helped me with my family problems and i help you
we got more an more closer to the end of the year i was scared
i knew i was gonna loose u
so i took a shot an told you i liked you
you told me nothing at all u just smiled and looked at me
it took 2-3 days for me to get the courage to look u in the face
i tried so hard to avoid u but every where i went u were there
i know even to this day we are better off as friends but in my heart there
will always be a place for you its just how i feel
on graduation day when my name was called i was so scared but i looked into
the audience and i saw u there with your smile and the dimples that have
been encouraging since the first day we met as i got my little card i knew
there was no turning back it was over the year i had with you was finally
coming to an end i didn't want it to end cause i knew we would be going
to different high schools and i didn't want to loose u...as everyone
started to leave we walked to the back with the rest of the students as i
was about to leave i turned to you an said my goodbye it was hard for me
cause i knew it was the last time i would see you
as we hugged u started to cry i pulled away an wiped the tear from
your'e face you told me you are going to miss me so much and I said i
am going miss you 2 as i turned away an looked back at you there u were with
tears in your'e eyes but your smile and dimples were also there i knew
that you knew that this is where we are supposed to be even though my heart
broke to leave you i wouldn't take back or friendship we had this year
cause its worth more than one simple heart break.
