Called you last night out of the blue,
Told you a sad story, a story that is true.
Showed you my secret world where I keep my pain,
Wasn't surprised when you didn't shake your head in shame.
For so long you've been there,
Even in my darkest hours you have cared.
Though I don't thank you much,
I cant explain how much I've been touched.
When you saw my scars you started to cry,
You even said "If it took away all your pain, I'd die"
You went through some hard times and you had to leave me,
I cried so much that day, my angel had let me be.
5 Days later and a lot sadder,
You came back to me, broken and battered.
I didn't know who did this to you and you wouldn't say,
Guess you knew I'd make him pay.
Sat there in awe and watched you pull through,
don't know how you did it,you were strong when the world was cruel.
When you had to leave, you just frowned and cried,
Said you hadn't been there for me but oh you tried.
I couldn't understand how you were thinking of me,
When the world was against you and wouldn't leave you be.
I fell to my knees and stared at you,
You were kind and gentle, when nothing else was true.
So now I am thanking you, for all the things you've done.
For all the laughs, giggle and all the fun.
I love you girl and even though you're gone,
I know your here and you wont be long.
