That September Day

Terrorist groups deploy our troops
All because that day in September
That they came and attacked
Our beautiful country
With planes that were high jacked
Killed man of our people
Took many innocent lives
Even the ones not in the buildings
Couldn't stay alive
Disturbed our land of peace
Causing the U.S. melancholy
Revenge is only death
On another country's soul
Punishing then for our agony
Starting a war upon themselves
There's no exact answer
Why a person would take so many lives
The war is against them now
They've now lost as many lives as us
They feel the ache now
Of how it is to lose so many lives
It may not be right
But as a country we must fight
