October, November, December...
Those were the good days
Very different in many ways
They were full of laughter and ambitions
Both of which improved the conditions
The things at school, with friends and at home
A new bond forming, no more being alone
Trust constantly being gained
for no more hatred had remained
What was in the past was over and done
for now a great friendship had begun
A funny story from beginning to end
of how each other they did befriend
In each of their lives neither was a part
For hatred was there right from the start
One person was there to always intervene
To say things about one another they didn't mean
Back and forth the two went for almost a year
Until everything fell into place and things became clear
It all started with the bus rides and small talks
Then proceeding into conversation and short walks
Then came May 7, 2004, a day in the sun
Where they hung out and had lots of fun
Then came the dance that night
The one where everything seemed just right
Summer came and one did move away
Never wondering if they'd meet again some day
Summer passed without a single word
from neither of which had they heard
Two months had passed where there was no chance
that they'd talk again under any circumstance
Then it happened, starting out online
Back to small talk with everything just fine
Rapid progression they did make
for trust in each other they never did break
Both found similarities in each other
Useful later for helping one another
Online chatting turned into long phone calls
Complete and total trust, breaking all the falls
They were soon "joined at the mind"
for many differences they couldn't find
Never once a fight, just simple play
Growing closer and more crazee every day
Those two were once you and me
That is how we used to be
Now all we do is fight
Almost every other night
Every day I hope that things would change
And that our friendship we could rearrange
To be like it all was before
And definitely not fighting anymore
The friendship where we could always speak our mind
Where silence, anger and tension you'd never find
I really wish things could be how they were
Let's put this behind us as if it never did occur
October, November, December...
Those were the "good old days"
Now and then are different in many ways
Then our friendship was at its best
But lets change it now and fix this mess
All of this we will forget about
Here's the phrase to remember when in doubt:
I love you, no matter what, you're my best friend,
forever and always until the very end
