When I was sad, you brightened my day
When I cried you wiped away my tears softly with your thumb.
Now you're gone, and I have no one to talk to.
Why did you have to go?
Where did we go wrong?
Everything seemed to be perfect,
Then you up and left.
Millions of questions running through my head,
questions you left unanswered.
When you left, you took my heart with you.
I don't know how to be myself without you,
you were my better half.
I fell apart when you left.
Now, I'm putting myself back together, and you..
your becoming just a long lost memory.
