Big Brother


Once so close together, but now so far apart. I only want you to notice me,
and keep me in your heart.
Is it so much to ask? Just to be near you. Big brother I want you to love me
no matter what I do.

I’ve been walking in your shadows, watching your every move.
It’s only because you push me away. What are you trying to prove?
You used to say I love you and give me a great smile.
To see it once again I’d walk Ten Thousand miles.

Why have you drifted so far away?
Can you remember when we used to play?
When you protected me, does that mean anything?!

You have grown older and also I have too.
But does that mean you’ll leave me; is that something you would do?
I wish you would answer all of my cries; I just want to be something in my
Brothers eyes.

Can you just once more look down with a smile on your face?
Just to show me one more time I’m not gone without a trace

All I really want is for you to love me.
For all of our adventures to forever be.

No matter what happens I’ll always love you
