Sometimes life can just get so tough
And your road becomes bumpy and rough
Things just don't seem to go your way
And everything is getting worse by the day
The insecurity becomes more than you can take
From this bad dream you wish you could awake...

Remember, just when you can't hold on any longer
You'll feel yourself becoming stronger
Instead of dark, your world becomes lighter
And, eventually, you'll become a fighter

Of all the people you meet, most will be deceiving
Few will be there for you in your time of grieving
You will never understand exactly what love's about
Just know that if it's meant to be, it will work out
Don't let people change you, keep your head high
And be able to stay strong when they ask why

Remember, just when you can't hold on any longer
You'll feel yourself becoming stronger
Instead of dark, your world becomes lighter
And, eventually, you'll become a fighter

Dreamers and underdogs, be your own star
Your accomplishments and goals aren't very far
If you work hard they'll never be gone
Keep with you the courage to keep pushing on.
