What Kisses And Hugs Do

Smiles, oh the smiles, and the sweet starry eyes
Just by a simple action, and being caught by surprise.
Heartbeats, oh the heartbeats thudding against your chest
Your heart skips a beat, never once at rest.
What?
You ask has come to bring such bliss?
A funny thing this is, just one simple kiss.

Laughing, oh the laughing, and the happy, joyful pleas
Just by one action, that would bring you to your knees.
Blushing, oh the blushing your face turning crimson red
Your cheeks filled with color, and without one word said.
What?
You ask could simply be so snug?
A funny thing again, one simple hug.

It’s really funny what these things can do,
I mean to take such affect and actions on you.
I mean just such a simple thing, just one thing like this,
a warm hug so tight, or a windy soft kiss.

A Heartbeat, or blush, surprise or snug . . .

There’s nothing quite like a Kiss or a hug.
