Cookie cutter houses
Like a monochromatic painting
Tell me what to do
Tell me what to say
Tell me when to smile
With out you I would go insane
I can’t think for myself
I can't see the world the right way

We live in a world of black and white
We live in a world of self made pies
Though must of our dads are closet drunks
We don't care if they mow their lawns
And everyone's mother and everyone's wife
Pop Viacdin to avoid the strife

On the outside everyone smiles
On the inside we all scream
On the outside we laugh
On the inside we bleed
We live on a world where
Everything is held inside

No one is different
We are all the same
Our houses are the same color
Our kids all go to school
We go to the same church
All problems are kept inside the houses
We live our lives with our heads in the sand
