Heads all turn
point at me
I hoped they hadn't
noticed me
I may need this stage
to feel I'm here
But then it's mine
here comes the fear
Do I sit
try and stand it?
Expecting a show
their eyes demand it
Here comes the crack
I was overuled
and once again
I play the fool.

This is about me always being the funny one expected to entertain people,
and how I wish I was taken more seriously.
