I'm getting high of these chemicals
The ones you help ignite
They're all ablaze inside of me
And I can't figure out what's right

This feeling was intense from the start
We both knew it all too well
And we took advantage of it so completley
So now we're stuck in this abyss
Not knowing where we're going

One wasted sitting here thinking of you
While you're out smoking with your friends
And then when 2am comes
I'll still be up waiting for you
But you wont answer your phone

You always do
But you're friends just dont think I'm cool

So tell me why I'm sitting in a senseless mess
One where I cannot decipher anything
Because I contempate our existance
Every single night before going to bed
And I dream about you all the time
During the day or in the midst of twilight
And I wonder if you remember
Do you remember when I walked 10 miles?
And do you remember that morning together?
Because I remember everything

And I dont want to be without you
Because you showed me who I am
Though it doesn't seem as if you understand
I'm so deeply in love with you
But you're too blind to see
You're words say "I love you too"
But I dont feel it comming from your heart
Not anymore
Do you still think I'm the most beautiful girl?
The only one who can make you smile?
*sigh*

So here's to those nights
The ones where we'd stay up until the crack of dawn
Just you and me and our telephones
Talking for hours on end
And here's to afternoons spent babysitting together
When we'd cuddle on the bed and watch them play
So here's to you
And here's to me
Here's to us
So hopefully
