Little Blue Eyed Child

I was there with a smile that would never go away watching you jump up and
down and your eyes go astray.

They were a beautiful blue that could never be erased I smiled so happily as
you chased and you chased.

You ran with no cares as fragile as could be the sunshine hit your face like
you would always be free.

It’s the innocence of a child that would always be in my arms, I’ll do all
I can to keep you safe from harm.
