She walks along, in her sweatpants and flip flops
No make-up, no jewelry, no fancy tops

So nonchalant...So perfect

She's passed by the girl, who tries to look her best
So "perfect", so flawless...I'm not impressed

Others, all they see is the outside beauty

Thinking what matters is how someone may look
All she did was walk by, but that's all it took

They were uninterested, so simple-minded

Just because she dances to a different drum
Doesn't mean she's dumb or a bum

Later in life, it will be her who succeeds

It won't matter that in the finals, you scored the winning point
Because when you are 40, you'll still work at the burger joint

Don't judge people by how they might dress

So what if someone's pants are a little too wide?
The only thing that really matters is the heart that lies inside.
