As I think to myself about what I've done
The things I've lost
The things I've gained
The things I thought
The times I complained

The things I learned
And times I forgot
The things I stole
The things I bought
Are all reasons I shouldn't have hurt you

But I'm only human and life is life
Husbands are Husbans
And Wives are Wives
Like Blood and kitchen knives
The marks on my heart
Burn like pools of alcohol on my cut wrist

My life is colorless
And I'm nothing without you
The times I should've remembered
And things I forgot bout you
Are a reminder of my days
