non existent anticipation
no more fulfilling people's expectations
feelings not put into consideration
nothing but frustration

love turned to pain, momentarily to hate
fantasies were a joke, so was fate
unwanted lover, unwanted mate
love nothing but a free ticket to hell's gate

loving with no heart, but with cruelty
such beautiful love filled with reality
logic is destructing, so is sense and sensibility
i have been left with this kind of mentality

i abandon everyone the way i was sold out
i confuse them like i was left to doubt
i turn my back on them ignoring their shouts
leave them with their grim expressions and pouts

this is what has been left of me
no choice of what i desire to be
the act makes me feel so unfree
and yet this isn't what i show to feel

now numbed with feelings that start to rust
desires like nothing but smoke and dust
real feelings coated with a crust
happiness shall not be mine, it's not a must
