Color

In a world where true light can not be seen
Only but the extreme

The black the white
So pale in comparison

To the beauty which I see
Only when it cuts into me

Only I can see the red
Overcoming my wrist, leaving its mark

My flesh left burning blue
As I embrace the hue.

This color seeps out of me
And pours onto my skin

So beautiful, so real
Color is the only thing I feel
