Little Children

Little children of the playground bright
Hands held high to reach the sky
A little whisper in their ears
Chills down the spines and in their hair

Sailing away into the twilight
And spinning into a never land of simplicity
Kissing fears and doubts far gone
It's just a fairytale to build us all

And thus came forward the silent wind
Sending dreams and worlds all amiss
Fragile innocence broken to bits
Not even the candle light vigil
Can save them from this

So little children of the playground bright
Lend us a hand and swing high with all your might
So high your legs could touch the sky
Like that you've tried for all your life

Be one with the cosmos
Let it all fly free
Be like the wind
And spread your wings
