Morning Atrocity

Touch me under a moonlit night,
Caress me softly in the warm sunlight,
Stroke my hair at our favorite lake
But don’t kiss me when the morning breaks

Shower me darling with loving kisses,
Adorn my bed with beautiful roses,
Embrace me tenderly my lean machine
But when dawn arrives, rinse with listerine!

Hold me close as we dance the night,
Let our bodies meet with sheer delight,
If morning shall find us face to face,
Altoid’s on my nightstand just in case

You are everything to me and more,
A perfect gentleman whom I adore,
The only flaw that I find atrocious,
Is that little word they call “Halitosis”
