Staring at the view
you can see her but her mind's not there
The only thing she thinks about is you
She thinks she's not good enough for you
She dreams about how things could be,
but that could easily become what might have been
if her true feelings you do not see

She's been through so many boyfriends and heartaches
she can't take it again
They tore her world apart
She just wants to be loved again
She's waiting for that special someone
to save her from this pain
She lost so much already she's got nothing left to lose
but everything to gain

She makes it her mission to talk to you every week
but about her true feelings she says nothing
She cherishes these moments she has with you
Her feelings stay deep inside her heart hiding
She wants to tell you how she feels
but all the while knowing
that if you don't feel the same
her embarrassment will be showing...

She waited for this moment since she met you
the chance to share her feelings with you
to say those words she holds in her heart
to finally say 'I love you.'
Then when she thinks your gonna laugh at her
you surprise her and tell her how you feel too
but what she wasn't expecting
was for you to say 'I love you too.'
