Now And On

I will always remember those long nights,
When I wished you were here,
Dreaming of you loving me,
And crying without you near.

I felt the pain you gave me,
The tears rolled out of my eyes,
But how much You really cared,
I never realized.

But then that day came,
When there was a knock on my door,
And there you stood,
And said to forget how it was before.

"I told you I'd always love you,
And that was no lie,
I don't know what I was thinking,
I don't know why I said goodbye."

You held me as we started to kiss,
We each knew this is how it was suppose to be,
Together forever,
Just you and me.

You love me, I love you,
We know this isn't a mistake,
Together we are happy,
With no more heart-ache.

This time our love will not be withdrawn,
We love each other, we are happy now and on.
