Wash Up on My Shore

Walking slowly through the door ,
feelings of self worth don't exist anymore ,
laughing children echo in my core ,
dreams and pity wash up on my shore.

The silence is deafening ; it pounds in my
ears . It trumpets my worst fears , while the lost
hope of failure comes with the tears.

So don't blame my sorrows on your empty tomorrows ,
and don't push your luck because life already
sucks. And now it's all over and the rain has
dried , with my spirit that has already died .
