I look at you, looking at her
You want to be with her, and I’m right here.
You seem so far away, yet I’m so near.
I think of you and her, and I’m filled with fear.
You have someone right under your nose,
And when you talk about her, it really blows.
Because you like her, and I just want you to hold me close.
How long will you act so blind?
It seems like you do this, all of the time.
What does it take for you to really see me?
Don’t you understand what we could be?
It hurts so much inside
And when I think about it I almost cry.
Knowing what you do not, and all I want to share
If you don’t open your eyes soon, I’ll no longer care
Please give up hoping for what you can’t have
But instead look around at what you already have.
