Tears For A Friend

You were my best friend for so many years
Laughing and playing your company so near.
But then deep in the shadows, you slipped far from me,
Now you're out of my reach, someone help me.

I could see distance growing between us for years
Changing thoughts and behaviors, I try not to shed a tear.
But all hope seemed a failure, there's no turning back,
You have fallen, now stuck in a trap.

Where'd all our years, of carelessness go?
I try not to care, but still sadness shows
I have lost you, for better times with someone who's wrong

She's turned you against all you once thought to be right,
Now this issue has turned into sore unwanted fights
Please come back to the world, place where friends you once knew
Cuz right now, you don't have any clue.

Under a spell...

Turned your back on all your friends,
See where this tragedy ends
We're all waiting for you to return to how you were before
These changes are not good, I want my friend I met long ago, to open a new
door
Then maybe we could return to good times

Where'd all our years, of carelessness go?
I try not to care, but still sadness shows
I have lost you, for better times with someone who's wrong

She's changed you, more than you know
But all the world, turns their noses and just let it go
But I'm not like the world, I'm alone.

You were my best friend for so many years
Now all you've left me is agony and tears.
Because deep in the shadows, you've slipped far from me,
And now you're out of my reach, please someone help me.

Under a spell...can't you see?
When will you see, you're gone, s'hard to see?
Come back to me....please....
