You say it'll be awhile, but who really knows?
It hasn't hit me yet, that future hope is bleak
Maybe if I just seclude myself, and with you i won't speak.
But that wouldn't be right, cuz you're already hurting so bad.
You hide all your pain, won't let me help, now I'm sad.
What do you need? What do you want me to do?
You hesitate to open up to me, so I don't have a clue.
You need some help, someone to help you through in this time.
You say you're okay, but I know you're not fine.
I know we're not "best friends" and we've not known each
other for long,
But don't be afraid to talk to me, please tell me what's wrong!
Maybe I could help you, if you just let me try.
I don't know what's happening here, don't understand why.
What do I say, to someone who just glosses over their life?
Doesn't not talking about it, cause even more trouble and strife?
Well until you decide what you want, what you need,
It looks like I'm stuck here, while you're still not complete.
I know it's not much, but you can have my shoulder to cry on,
And I'll do my best to help you, through it all, all along.
Just know that I'm here for you, if you ever change your mind.
And I'll be there for you, every single time.
