I came to take you away
But I took your hand instead
We danced on treetops, a perfect grace
I swear, we fell in love again
At times, our own world trembled
So we showered together in the rain
Making amends with each others coming storms
So we could carry on without the pain
My eyes wouldn't leave you, never could
Your beauty being far more than I could bear
Here, just like you said it would be
To you, my heart, nothing could compare
We move slowly and silently
Making our way through misfortune and greed
Never fearing whats ahead, we just lived
Knowing we were all that we would need
We laid in the grass at night sometimes
You would fill me with sweet romance
Loving every breath of you, I wept
We'd live forever, if we had the chance
And when the night melted into day
I'd get up and walk with you
We'd face everything that came our way together
And prove our destiny true
If the world should disagree with us
Then we'd fly away, build a palace in the clouds
Breeding a new sense of freedom
And build a family just like we vowed
Named by a world of dreamers, we were one
In between an unexpected dream come true
Consoled by memories of that fateful day
Kissed once and I fell in love with you
