I was late, small
insignificant
The others were beautiful
everything that could be expected
from such as us.
They were loved
tall
bright
fragrant
reds
yellows. . .

I was hiding, closed,
colorless
afraid..

The someone picked me
"A mistake," I thought,
"He'll see, and toss me away."
But he didn't. . .

Now, I am beloved
taller
brighter
more fragrant
more red
more yellow . .

I am
white.
