Be My...

You should be my heroine
The drug that keeps me sober
Just like the bad habit
I refuse to break

You should be my sickness
The pain that makes me stronger
Just like a bad headache
That doesn’t go away

You could be my sunburn
The fire to freeze me over
Just like all the damage
I fear too much to say

You should be my devil
The sin that fuels my laughter
Just like my own danger
I never seem to hate

You should be my razor
The knife that sews my tears
Just like all the burdens
That carry on the weight

Then you could be my someone
The love that makes me better
Just like woven promises
I don’t ever want to break
