my heart is breaking, and I wish you knew why
but every time I try to speak.. I start to cry.
Nobody but You truly knows the pain I feel.
I'm starting to wonder if it will ever heal.
I feel so alone and so cold.
I wish I had Your hand to hold.
You feel so far away, even though you are so close.
But Your hug is what I want the most.
To be able to talk to You all the time.
Instead of making up this stupid rhyme.
I never know if You're really listening to me.
I know I'm not who You want me to be.
When I come to You when the day is done,
I wish I felt that the battle was won.
