Tighten the fetters,
I bow my head in your grace.
Could those hands take life?
As simply as giving pleasure.
My answer as I smash the mirror,
A reflection I wish not to see.
Something inside snapped.
In the shards surrounding our feet,
Your hands slink effortlessly around my throat.
I bend backwards.
Form bridges to burn,
And we dance on fire.
For flames lick our burning flesh,
No one ever said that I'd enjoy the shame.
In our own bizarre world,
We rule ourselves.
Growing and fading in feuds,
The faultless transgression.
Your eyes break skin,
And we bleed into one another.
Your limbs scarred,
Cigarette strike branding.
Images formed over time.
I see my reflection in your eyes,
Hollow and fading.
As air seeps out of my lungs, pictures transform.
Could I be staring at my own mind?
Eyes rolled back and mouth dry and cut up,
I see you fade away and downwards.
Seconds seem eternity.
My eyes flicker open,
An effort unwanted,
But all I see is myself.
Alone in this fate through a shattered mirror.
Your body laying at my feet,
Self torture taken its toll.
Cut out the only thing that was right,
Times passes outside these windows,
And night stretches like skin,
To comfort us in our decent.
I'll never see you again,
But I'll die right next to you,
In this end.
