I'm faced with all these problems
Not knowing what to do
Who I should answer,
What I should pursue.
Do I stay true to a friend?
Or do I follow my heart?
Don't want this friendship to end,
Don't want it to fall apart.
I can't have this jealousy
End our happy friendship.
But too much tension
Might make the boat we're on tip.
She's helped me through thick and thin,
Guided me through really rough times.
I don't think I really should risk,
Losing a friend over a guy.
So this is what I choose.
I stay just friends with both, and neither will I lose.
This way keeps us all serene,
The way these kinds of things should be.
