Do It Yourself!

You expect me to clean everything, then I get no thanks
You sit on your ass as I go to great lengths
I'm not your mother, I'm your sister, so I won't cut your
meat
Stop acting like it's my job to wash your feet!
Should I bow and kiss the ground you are walking on?
Should I vacuum the rug and mow the lawn?
When I asked you for help you said it's too hard
Acting all of the sudden like the one in charge
Well, I do this weekly and I know it's tough
And cleaning that bathroom isn't much fun
But show your appreciation and help me out
And when you do it, don't bitch and pout
We're not in the 50's, it isn't all black and white
And this sexism thing just isn't right
So stop acting like the girl cooks and the guy drinks beer
Because in the end that just isn't fair
