Empty Spaces

Empty spaces,
refilling where our love once lied,
Unfriendly faces,
hiding all the tears they've cried.

Silence crushing my weak soul,
This person ive turned into,
cannot be consoled.

Im too far under,
I've missed all the rain,
But im in time for the thunder.

I prick my finger,
on a wire so thin,
Blood draining from my eyes as i wonder where youve been.

These empty spaces are taking my place,
All these nameless imposters,
gather my face.

Spread out among the concrete,
Lonely, Tired, friendless
and incomplete.

These empty spaces made me forget what we had,
I'll never remember, never go back,
The emptiness swallowed what once was a laugh.
