Unsaid Love

Seems like the other day I was just talking to you
Thinking to ourselves “Are these emotions true?”
The answer was quite clear the next day
Through the tears running down my face its hard to say
Scrawled writing was written fast
Saying “I love you but this love can’t last”
Not getting the chance to say “I’m in love with you”
Kneeling down, throwing my hands up, and crying out “If you only knew!”
Love turns to hate as hate turns to frustration
If I could have only told you my feeling of this longing sensation
A red rose tucked gently at your side
My saddened emotions foolishly I try to hide
Loving tears of passion drip onto your face
Tapping your limp hand, wanting to run with you and get out of this place
Turning your hand over, showing the blood dried line
Thinking that just a day of ago you were mine
Did you think of me when you watched the blood fall?
Not even a happy memory, just one at all?
Two Lost Souls are bound to meet
When we do will you sweep me off my feet?
Can I wrap my arms around you one last time?
Snuggle my lips on your neck and whisper “You’ll always be mine”?
Hold you forever and never let you go
Showing my love to you forever so eternally you will know
I know we will meet in our dreams and heart too
Two lost souls whispering “Yes, I love you”
