Shattered Kisses

She watched him as she always has.
Seeing his lips move was not enough,
And she knew it never would be.
Missing the silence of all the
Beautiful smiles,
Left with broken wishes and
A damaged smile.
No more bleeding wounds,
At least not now.
No real hope for his arms
To hold her again.
She felt her heart dying beneath the
scars.
Under the secret smiles,
Deeper to the soul,
He saw her and she wished he
Would have stayed.
All dreams are just
Wishes, mostly shattered by
Real pain.
Loving the smiles and the
remaining closeness she
Keeps to herself.
Laughing at the immaturity of
Her own actions, she fell
Into her deep slumber,
Missing his shattered kisses.
