Remeber?

Is it possible to forget,
How in love I am with you?
The heartbreak hides beneath
My damaged hazel eyes.
Oh to forget! I'd breathe normally
Again.
Or maybe then, it'd stop all together.
I remember the kisses goodbye.
Especially that last one, remember?
Outside the cafe, where I you kissed me
Once, the sweet taste of maple syrup.
It was perfect.
Or maybe you remember our first one,
That Monday night on my porch.
Or maybe it was the one on the corner,
We missed the green light.
You smiled at me again, I saw
yesterday.
It was the smile I got lost in.
Remember when I cooked for you?
It was so bad but you said otherwise
And ate it anyway?
Remember?
Or was it the time you were mad because
my mom didn't want us to kiss?
Whether it was the first kiss or the first time
I saw you, I knew there was something there.
Or maybe it was the Wednesday it all ended.
Or that time I saw you with someone else.
Or the first time I cried for you.
I don't know what it was.
But it was so sudden, the day I
Realized I loved you.
