Not Enough

Folded corners of diary pages
A fingerprint collage
Scribbled and torn up the words
Another fabricated mirage
Picture book of delicate macabre
Whispers tell the tale
This tragic, beautiful story
We're desperate to no avail
Broken record plays mourning again
No satisfaction guarantee
Turn it up, I need it louder...
Violence loves me
The signal is disconnecting, oh no
I want not sympathy
Tripping all over my words again
I waste not empathy
Written words in black and red
Forgotten sense of pride
Wrote down a thousand reasons why
And not one survived
Darkness reigned upon my mind
Rained, rained, and rained
Ripping bonds and all the boundaries
Words all end up strained
Cannot suffice the real world
Lost all my meaning
Poetry spoke but was not heard
You're always leaving
Scribble once, and twice I tell
All between the lines
No one at fault, just me this time
Ugly by design
Leeching answers of one divine
Just a stitch away
Bones are broken, showing through
Broken hearted, anyway
Random verses and planned phrases
I'm just so sick
No sense pretending to be fake
(Love's little trick)
Here we go again he said
No more memory
Throw away the bonds we beared
Get away from me
One more sad, sad poetry rhyme
No more dirty tricks
I fall again into this atrocity
That love just couldn't fix
