When we were together I was happy,
You could make me laugh and make me smile.
I'm sorry this happened, I feel crappy.
At least we had everything for a while.

You were untruthful and we had to part.
Relationships ending with many lies.
You ended up breaking all my heart.
I will miss your smile and those blue eyes.

Saying good-bye was one of my worst fears.
It's hard to move on but I'll be alright.
Someday they'll stop coming, all of those tears.
I will move forward and get back my sight.

You said you were sorry and I forgave.
But I need to move on and be real brave.
