The best things in life are the ones that haunt us

He’s back again
It’s the guy she always thinks about
It’s the guy that gives
Reason to her life
His smile gives her butterflies
But sadly right behind him
Perfect Barbie follows
As they approach,
Their hands lock one another’s
“A match made in heaven”
Is the word that’s going around
There the same
Both perfect in every way
That’s why the girl looks at them
So angrily
There everything she wants
The boy is everything she dreams of
And this Barbie is the girl that gets it all
Tears flood the poor girls heart
Which is beaten up and torn
Not the amount of days in a year
Can compare to the wounds,
This girl has on her wrists
She’s always wearing long sleeves
But they eventually inch up
All her cuts
Deeper and deeper as the veins come in sight
She tries to cover up
She doesn’t want to show the pain of her life
She hopes that no one sees how hard everything is
With out him to care
They wouldn’t understand
They’d laugh and turn the other way
Shed be the freak of the school
That’s why she wants to run away
So she wrights a little note
“You’re the only reason that I stayed,
Now that you found her I guess I should go my own way”
And she hung it to the boys door.
When he came home and saw it,
The tears came to his eyes
Hated at the school he was also
For he too wore long sleeves from the times,
He did self damage.
he loved her, but thought she was too good
Saw her around all the guys
Didn’t know they were just her best friends.
The only ones she could find.
So her name he shouted.
And ran as far from home as he could
She finally heard him.
But it was too late
The cuts finally got too deep,
The bone could be easily seen
From the pain that she couldn’t endure
She let it all out with a final screech.
As her tears fell down her cheeks,
It was the last thing that she wanted
She fell in love with him the first time,
She laid her eyes on him.
And he was the only reason for this disaster
He loved her also, but he was too stupid to show it
She loved him, but she was too afraid to say it
They found them on on-top of the other.
But in the boys hand,
A note remained.
“I found a note at my door,
A the final note that lead me to her,
A pool of blood next to her,
And my name carved deep inside a heart,
All on her fragile wrist
The one thing she didn’t know,
Is that I cared for her also, but didn’t know how to show it.
I loved her more then anyone before, so if she took her life
Just for me, my life is taken too.
This pool of blood around us,
Just means were meant to be.”
