Lies Of The Black Rose

A black rose,
Falls from her hand.
A lost heart,
Sinks into her soul.
A forgotten you,
Breathes down her neck.
Feelings of arrogance,
Sweep her mind.
Dazed and confused,
She bites her lip,
Blood runs through her veins,
To the new wound.
And the memories rush back,
Like the feeling to the numb.
Carrying her deeper and deeper,
Into the forever sorrow.
But nothing can take her now,
She’s free.
Lost in the translation,
Of her past and future.
But never can the memories fade,
Because the black rose doesn’t lie.
