Body and soul
In the fires of time,
Turn and look
Inside the fire’s core,
Show me
The way home,
Unlock doors
That will not,
Scream and tell me
You are here,
Help fill these empty tears
That still will not fall,
Open my soul
To see the light.

Let the rain fall
From my eyes,
Wipe away this fake mask
Of hope and innocence,
Make my inner defenses crumble
And turn to dust,
Causing this flood of empty tears
To run wild and free,
Release my doubts and fears,
To drown
In this rush of wild disorder,
And then I will
Be truly free.

But will my soul be whole
Or be destroyed by this freedom,
Come and help me
Decide, stranger,
So that I will not become lost
In my fear and doubts again,
And complete this puzzle
Called life.
