Runaway Storm

Look outside, weatherman says it's going to be sunny,
Look in my mind, there's a storm, ain't that funny?,
Clear skies with a slight breeze no clouds in sight,
Inside, the storm rages on as I loose another fight,
How is this weather suppose to make me glad?,
When I've lost everything, the good, the bad,
Where's my parents where's my friends?,
Where's the ones that said they'd be here till the end?,
Thunder rolls as the lightning strikes down,
Trying to hold it all inside without a sound,
How do you expect me to see when my eyes are foggy,
Look down at my clothes they're torn and soggy,
Pills aren't working just making it worst,
Kids make fun of me say I'm weird, they say I'm cursed,
The sun has got to their head, they've never seen rain,
They have joy and laughter, never known pain,
All along I'm alone in this tide,
Wanted a test drive got caught up in the ride.
Now all I know is pain of the worst form,
Bruised and battered from this runaway storm.
