Freedom through death

I see the pain
I can not hide
It increases until
It becomes a heavy stone
Around my neck,
Pulling me down
To the ground,
Never to see the sky again,
The suffering and hiding
Makes only more painful,
Forcing me
To wish a escape
Into the light.

My memories haunt me
With past nightmares and doubts,
Still, I’m blinded
By the sun,
It’s the moon that
I can not see clearly,
Which only wishes to give me
Freedom.

The sun blocks the moon’s light,
To stop it’s healing powers
To reach my soul
And release my pain,
So I must follow the snake,
Waiting to pierce my skin
With its fangs of poison,
To find the moonlight path
And becoming free from this pain.
