Untill Then (True Poem)

Until Then
The days go by like dust in the wind,
In my mind burns the image of a very special friend.
The memories play over and over in my head,
How could someone so invincible be dead?
The fact that hes gone makes no sense,
So he completed Gods task, but at what expense?
But why not take me along too,
Instead I'm Left here not knowing what to do.
I sit and i think about the past,

The accident that happened so fast.
He was taken without warning,
It put the world in a state of mourning.
What if I had been sitting there,
Would there still be this chill in the air?
Would I have died or could I have still escaped death,
I think about it with every breathe.
How much i would give to see him again,
And tell him we are still the best of friends.
That we will meet again someday,
And I'll tell him everything i didn't get to say.
