Immortal Dream

I hang on tightly,
to your fragile thread,
if I dare let go,
I'd soon be dead,
but I guess I already did,
my everything is gone,
my words are all confused,
he messed with my mind,
and my heart he did use,
but I cannot give into lifes trickery,
please - not yet,
my mind is all screwed up,
forgive me,
yet again I let myself down,
maybe I will shut my eyes,
and black out my tears,
I'll live here in my immortal dream,
where there are no broken hearts,
or hands tightly griping nothing,
will you miss me?,
will you kiss me,
good-bye?,
I'll let go of your cold words,
though it hurts,
a dream is better then your lies,
so good-bye old love,
I let go of your twisted thread.
