So alone
So sad
So silent
Feels so bad
Hours pass
Without sound
Searching for truth
I look around
No family
No friends
No starts
No ends
Trying to recall
Why it had to be
Still I look
Yet cannot see
Truth is truth
You’re not here
With thoughts of you
I shed a tear
I reach out
I hug air
I cry out
You’re not there
I lose balance
No longer can stand
I realize
I’ve lost my man
I didn’t notice
But you had a dart
That when you left
You left in my heart
Left to hurt
Left to cry
Left alone
