Times Like These

Sometimes I wish I could fade away
Just thinking thoughts of yesterday
Like times when we drove real far
When one small move, could break a car
The time we shopped until we dropped
Thinking that we could almost get caught
Now times like these, are nothing but a memory
Ones that we will remember, for eternity
Wasn’t it just last night
When Mike scared Ashley with that bite
Or when we went to New York City
Saw the naked cowboy, and found him witty
Times like these are nothing more
But thoughts, of when we are bored
On those June summer days
We skipped class and caught some rays
Now I sit here listening to dogs bark
Remembering the night, we were at the skate park
Grabbing the phone, to make that emergency call
Surprised and shocked faces, from us all
From June To December
These thoughts, I hate to remember.
