She left her radio on.
Just to hear his favorite song.
And maybe catch a piece of his
Voice he left behind it.
pendant hands and heart with
No more music pumping its way
Through.
She cried again.
The stinging on her eyes
Wasn't enough.
She cut again.
No feeling of purity anymore.
The sensation of torment
Running through her thoughts
Was endless.
The chain around her neck,
Holding the pendant he gave her.
Twisting though her delicate fingers,
Like rubbing a Genie bottle for a wish.
She found the memories,
Some battered and some too
Delicate to speak of.
Laying herself down again,
Letting the hope drain from her heart.
Resting between her breasts was the pendant.
The pendant that held her body with a
Simple link chain.
A tear, down the side of her face
To her ear and then it was gone.
Make up staining her red eyes.
Burning.
"he's just a boy"
She heard that again.
She nodded but she didn't agree.
Fore her heart beat from his chest
And her wishes behind his starry blue eyes.
Distant and painful.
Never to give up.
Lost all hope in everything.
Except the lingering feelings she found
Behind his smile.
With the blink of an eye,
She was gone.
