(I'm not a poet, I'm a song writer - so Pardon if this sucks.)

You claimed to be bigger than Jesus, I must say that I agree.
You saved the world from hatred, but no one tried to see.
You gave us all empathy, and for that I do say thanks.
But soon enough, you gracious love, ran down the muddy banks.
Now that your love is gone, and you are long since dead.
Depression and Self-Hatred has reared it's ugly head.
Peace, Love, and Empathy were spawned from a man named John.
But with from a single bullet, Peace - Love - and Empathy, are all but dead
and gone.
