Your words fall heavy on my already broken heart
There are so many words left unsaid, where to start?
The snow falls with ice, hitting my back
Like an emotional frost attack

The empty shops make me feel colder
Every second my heart is getting older
It’s growing up and learning lessons you could never teach
It’s standing tall, touching what before it could not reach

But everytime I try to run down this icy street
I slip and fall, but get back on my feet
Run, Run, until I can no longer feel this snow
Run, Run, when the light flashes go

If I run away from everything
Will you chase me?
And if you catch me will you help
Or let my heart fend for itself

If I tried to kiss you would you kiss me back?
If I took your hand would you take it back?
If I told you I cared, what would you say?
If I said I loved you, would you walk away?

If I spilled my heart out, would you shake your head?
Try to tell me that we were only friends
If I was standing there in the winter wind
Would pour water on my cold body?
Would you watch me freeze into a statue
Representing the girl that I use to be

But when the sun comes out I’ll crack out of this shell
My icy reincarnation from the fires of hell
No more happy memories, those were temporary
So you better run fast because this fire will always last

I’ll choke you with my freezing fingers
Let my ice nails dig deep so the feeling lingers
I’ll tighten my grip until you spit out those three words
And I won’t let go until they are heard

”I am sorry”
